As a business woman in my vanilla life who hires some of the best people to work for her, I am well used to helping others set and achieve their goals in the context of the work environment.
Recently, I have noticed myself doing this not with employees, but with my subs. If they seem unclear on something, I’ll set them a task. If there is something getting in the way of them being a good submissive for me, I’ll set them a task. If there is something getting in the way of them achieving their goals, I’ll set them a task.
Although sometimes my subs seem to worry that I am giving them homework when they just want me to be telling them how they’re naughty boys and ‘punishing’ them, the boys who do as they’re told have been pretty damn happy with the results of engaging with this type of domination!
There is something about the accountability of knowing that if you don’t achieve this goal – no matter how small – your domme is going to be disappointed with you, not just you being disappointed with yourself, that means subs who have been struggling for a long time to achieve something find that the barriers in their way don’t feel so big after all. The subs then tend to smash those goals pretty quickly with my support and guidance.
Although I have a structured approach to how I do things, I want to do this in a way that doesn’t feel uncomfortable or too time consuming. I know that other dominatrix life coaches tend to push their charges to fill in forms or write essays at the start so they can learn as much as they can before they get to work.
I don’t need that.
I have enough experience now not to need that.
